From Thursday 5/28 to Tuesday 6/2 I will be in Fort Lauderdale on vacation and testing for a job with the BSO. I've already been told Las Olas is a nice place to visit. Anywhere else be fun or nice to visit? I'm planning on heading to Dolphin Stadium for D1GP on that Saturday. There any meets or anything going on so I could meet some people since I hopefully will be moving there shortly?

 

Our usual meets are wednesdays, the one day you won't be in town.

There's one on thursdays in broward I believe.. but I have no info on it.

 

ill be stuck with a rental anyway just want to see if anything is going on to meet some people so i at least know someone if i move there

 

Thats cool, but if your coming to the meet just be ready to stay out past 2am and make sure you bring a DD

BTW, which tests for BSO? Poly, Psych, and interview?

That stupid 300yd swim is the dumbest sh.it ever! No one else uses that in Miami Dade, only BCC.

When I took my written test at BCC they said they only day they administered the swimming test was on Monday at 7:30am. Good luck getting into BSO. Last I heard from someone that works there was that they were planning on laying-off a lot of people including new cadets.
