AAA
Ok,
Here is the deal.
I happen to like AAA.
Insurance towing is usually to the nearest shop.
AAA unlimited means the first 100 miles are free. then its about 2$ / mile..
Sonic was kind enough to save me from a reaming after supermeet.
I was able to help out Joey during his predicament.
So.. you can use your AAA to help someone else... if you'd like.
They'll also help w/ locked keys in the car or if you run out of gas.. they'll come and fill $5 worth i think.
There are discounts to attractions like disney etc. If you call them.. they'll provide maps and such.

Another benefit is reduced rates on Hotels and Rental Cars. You get a 5% to 10% at Hertz (depends on site), and 5% - 20% off at most major hotel chains. I do tons of travel for work and always book w/AAA rates, saves a lot.
I once did a 720 in my S about 8 a year ago and landed in a muddy ditch as I was rounding the big curve on 1-75 by the high school (B-Goldman High School).
I called my wife (girlfriend @ the time) and was frantic; not for me but for my car. If it had rained anymore, my S would have become a convertable submarine.
Luckily, I towed it out but it cost me $200 w/ labor and the tow truck actually becoming stuck in the mudd for about 45 minutes. Wish I could have saved the $$$$. Now I have unlimited towing through the company that financed my car (Well's Fargo).
