it does not look like the one precut for the mugen intake, as the cuts don't look like that. looks like someone cut the opening to be even larger.

Yes, its the ASM plate. Its cut for the ASM intake. My wife originally ordered version 1, which has no cut, but ASM discontinued it. So an order for version 2 (plate precut for the Mugen intake) was placed but Bulletproof screwed up and sent her version 3, which is precut for the ASM intake. I'm trying to get it exchanged through BP but since I wasn't aware of this problem until I installed it, BP is giving me some shit about it.
