WOW! What a difference! Looks beautiful...remember to thank you wife everytime you look at your engine. Hopefully that will inspire her to buy you more gifts!

Enjoy..

Here are some fun pictures of the hood cutting process...

1. Prepare the patient for surgery.

2. Masking tape is your friend.

3. Drumel, surgical mask and goggles please.

4. Why cut a hole in a perfectly good hood? I guess the same reason why I would jump out of a perfectly good plane!

5. And viola! I still can't believe I cut a hole in my S2000!

My first look in the engine bay, and I said "hmmm, a powder coated white block would look sweet!".
Ever thought about that?

is that an asm radiator plate?

it does not look like the one precut for the mugen intake, as the cuts don't look like that. looks like someone cut the opening to be even larger.

i like the setup, but i would get a replacement plate and cut it to fit more snug on that j's intake. otherwise

Nice job, Mav! You have a great lady there.

I like the red on that ASM shock bar, that would look great on my NFR. What is the clearance like with your intake?

Oh and that intake looks nice, too! <jealous>
