Whenever you change the ride height of the S2000 it affects the current alignment settings and can alter the range of adjustment that is possible. So, the car will need to be re-aligned after lowering in order to keep the camber the same as before. When you lower the car camber increases and that can be reduced to some extent by adjustment, but if you lower too much, you cannot adjust out the camber. Toe will be unaffected and I'm not sure about caster.

Most people view ride height and camber as seperate though related adjustments. If your thinking about lowering the car soon and money is a concern, i'd wait on the alignment until after you've decided on your height. Then, try 1.5 to 2 deg in the rear and 1-1.5 degrees in the front and see how the car handles. Tire grip is also affected by pressure and wear, so at first I'd just set the alignment at one place and play around with the other variables.

Thanks for the info, and a follow up question... For the street I will have 18's and the kumhos on stocks for tracking. Since I will align the car with the 16's on, how will this affect the settings when I drive on the street with the 18's in regards to tire wear etc? If the 18's and 16's share the same overall height then it shouldn't change anything about the alignment right?

I am going to Miami Chassis in a bit to get the alignment done. I will be using the UK recommendation which is:

Front Caster 6.75

Right!

There may be a small difference if the offsets are not the same, but not enough to worry about. The only camber compromise is to go aggressive enough for fun but not to the point of killing the street tires. I've found that running a little extra pressure on the street helps keep the slightly high camber from wearing the inside edges as rapidly as it would with lower pressure.

Well got my alignment done at Miami Chassis in the morning... I requested the custom UK Honda alignment, they did without any problems. $60, took about an hour or so. So far so good, the car seems a bit more responsive, especially at higher speeds.

I definitely recommend Miami Chassis if you need an alignment. They have machines designed especially for low sports cars and if not they will put wooden planks to ensure no damage will be done. Very inexpensive.

If you go, ask for Les.
