Sometimes people who put down other people are making themselves feel better about who they are and their mediocre status in society.

And I don't hold the door for anyone... they can open the door their damn selfs.

Anyway, cute story I once read, possibly in Reader's Digest. A guy held open a door for a woman. She turned around and said in a nasty tone of voice, "You don't have to hold the door open just because I'm a lady!". To which he replied, "I do not hold the door open because you are a lady, I hold the door open because I am a gentleman."
Great story. It has become somewhat of the sexist thing now-a-days where women feel as though being liberated has something to do with guys holding or not holding the door. But it shouldn't be looked that way. It's just a common courtesy thing to do and anyone with some upbringing with manners would know this.

I appreciate greatly when I open the car door for a female and she gets in and after I close the door, she leans over and.....opens the door for me. It's not that I can't open my own door, but it's the gesture that says, thanks, I'll do the same for you in return.

Cool man! I printed a poster size pic of that too and hung it up in my office as well!

Hey I ran into you on the 836? When? I don't remember, I've waved at a lot of S2000 owners. One time this dickhead in a Suzuka gave me the finger... oh wait that was Richie.

And yea I was only kidding about not opening the door for peeps. I always open the door, except for little old ladies in a walker. They can open the door their damn selfs.

Nope, not me. I seldom get down to Miami / Dade. Besides, I always give a thumbs up to fellow S2000s
