KAB Customs is not trustworthy. Never buy anything he sells, I bought a transmission from him that was leaking and after 2 years the tail-shaft bearing is shot. I changed the fluid immediately after it was installed, fluid level was low and smelled burned. He claimed it was a low mileage transmission in good shape. That was a lie. After I contacted him to see what I could do about the leak, he offered to sell me the case from my old transmission to fix the leak. When he did an engine swap in my car, he added $200 in ghost charges for things he claimed to have replaced, but I learned the hard way he didn't. The slave cylinder he claims to have replaced blew a few months after the swap. A brand new slave cylinder at the time was $80 from Honda, and he charged me more than that for a "used" one. I didn't expect to be treated that way after I looked out for him. I let him have my old engine to part out, and I gave him power tools on top. I even paid up-front for the labor. While the engine was out, I paid to have the valves adjusted, I decided to check his work, and I come to find out the valves were not adjusted, at all, the first exhaust valve on cylinder 1 was way too tight. Had I left it like that I would have a burned exhaust valve. He didn't bleed the radiator properly, either, I had to change a small hose out a week after I got the car back, and noticed a bunch of air when I bled the system.
He's good at doing clutches, I'll give him that much, but I wouldn't trust him with much else. Shame because now I have to find someone to do the tail shaft bearings. I refuse to go back to him out of principle.
