Long story short;
I need a VIN for some refurbished parts I purchased on eBay when my car was in the shop (Hood/Bumper). The state refuses to pass my car's inspection because I do not have VINs for those two parts. I realize that they do it because of the high number of thefts the S2000 has but seriously it's getting ridiculous. I provided Paypal receipts and even printed the listing from some big time eBay store that repairs and sells parts on eBay but they simply will not accept it, they WANT a VIN.
I'd also go to a junkyard and snatch a VIN if someone can tell me if there's an S at one that they've seen.

Oh and by snatch a VIN I mean write it down on a piece of paper, I'm not trying to swap VINs or anything crazy like that. I'm on my fourth month of paper tag driving and it's getting on my nerves.
