Just got a call from the state attorney's office that formal charges are being brought against Donnovan Daniels and he will be tried as an adult.

 

Also, arraignment time has been set

OMG this is great.
People defending this thief, like on JDMSouth, should be killed. There is no reasoning with them.

I do hope that this helps as a deterrant to the s2k thefts in S.FL.

 

I return home from the west coast on the 11th so i think I can make this, maybe you should start a new thread or something to see if we can make this a meet right outside the courthouse. This would definately be very interesting.

 

which courthouse is it at ? It says central courthouse but no idea what that means ??

I would be shocked if he got jail time, most likely he will plea for community service or some bs like that .

I didn't get to go but I checked the site and it looks like either it got pushed back or there's a 2nd hearing on the 26th

The next hearing is on May 25th ..... typical plan by a lawyer .... keep delaying the trial or hearing until the witness or cop doesn't show up and then ask
for the charges to be dropped ....

 

yeah sounds like it.

in other news, I got a restitution check for my deductible from the juvenile's parents. at least it's something.

 

If you haven't already cashed it,I would check with the attorney that it's ok to accept because out might be perceived as silence settlement money.
