DEFINITELY charge back the credit card to pay for all of the time and trouble you've been through...I seriously doubt the CC company would argue it once you hand them a copy of your timeline and issues form above.

 

As I said in another post, DT has done all the work on my S2000 thus far, all the work on my previous Eclipse GS-T (the car ended up blowing up but it was a POS anyway, I think Ricky can at least testify to that). I am planning to let DT do some remaining work on my S2000 then on my M3, although I might let Active Autowerks do it since they are M3 experts down here. All my friends have done their work with them as well and when problems do occur, although rarely, they fix them immediately and without much hestitation. This is why I recommended DT to Warren and why I'm shocked to see all this.

I have heard their side of things and it seems they paint a vastly different picture. Before everyone jumps on me again, I'm not saying they are right, and you are wrong, I'm simply stating what I was told.

For whats its worth Warren, I am sincerely sorry you went through this. I understand you may and probably feel that I am partly responsible for this since I was the one who recommended you to DT in the first place. However understand my position... I was planning on helping you as much as I could, including going there daily to harass Humberto and Pep if I had to because I know they would have listened to me, until I read some of the stuff you said on 04.06 to someone. I was shocked and disgusted. Friends wouldn't try to blame my damages on Jonathon kicking rocks at me or deny what even happened and asking for proof when you know what happened, etc etc. It became evident how you felt. I wished you would have just told me "Go fock off for a month until I get my car fixed." but instead from my perspective I was ignored, dicked around and lied to.

Nevertheless for what its worth Warren, I'm sorry you went through this and DT screwing you over. If I would have known this was going to happen, I would have never recommended DT in the first place. I would have told you to go to Rick Case, SFP or have the guys help you install it. You should dispute the CC charge immediately. The bank shouldn't give you any shit, just say that DT failed to repair your car, you are unsatisfied and DT refuses to remedy the situation.

And to the rest of you... I'm sorry if I offended anyone from that other stupid thread I posted. Sorry Alex, Ricky, Rashel, Gan, Russ, Dan and especially Warren. Joey, thanks for being the only one to understand my position and try to help me out. I won't explain why I posted it and why I choose the path that I did, I know now it was the wrong choice and unfortunately I lost many friendships over it. I'm sorry, forgive me.

A few of you asked me to stay on as CO. Unfortunately given the unfriendly atmosphere between Warren and I, that isn't a possibility. And truth is I was planning on quitting soon anyways due to time constraints. Jeff or Matt or anyone of you would make a fine choice for CO. Whoever gets it next, good luck, if you need my help, you have my cell.

You certainly haven't lost my friendship but I'll only speak for myself.

We were discussing a point.. I was told I could be sued... I explained that there is absolutely NO GROUNDS for a suit.. nor would the person in question win. LEGALLY I KNOW I'M RIGHT. What would my course of action be? depends on the approach... ATTACK ME.. and there will be no action.. i'm right... Ask me ... and we'll see.. you are of course my friend.

I sincerely am sorry for this as well. If you'd like to stay on as CO.. I think i can live w/ that... it'll be rough for a bit.. but thats ok.. I'm pretty sure I can work it out. You time constratnts may prove a problem.. so i understand that as well...

As for Blaming you for DT... I will be honest and say I only think that briefly.. In a moment of irrational pain at my literally having to beg them for my car. Coupled w/ the fact that you are such good friends w/ them and I percieved that you felt no action was necessary.. again this was a misunderstading brewing out of 4/6. Again.. each volley made me have to consider the precursor events... How such a position could be taken.. without regard for the events leading up to it.

As far as you car... I SWEAR I SPOKE TO THEM.. but you've read my luck w/ them. I begged you to talk to them on 4/7? Knowing that you are their friends.. and being closer to the time.. you'd have abetter chance than myself... instead you waited 2 weeks to even talk to them... Again I swear i spoke to them... they ignore me.. it takes 2 weeks to get a part? that a layperson like me... could find in a single day? Did they pay for the towing? no... Did they tell you thjy fixed it for free? they didn't.. I paid for it.. and lest not forget time invested... Did they really try to fix it??? no... I asked them to check on/tigther up the clutch pedal.. they said they did.. they didn't.. pedal is still loose.

you can't honestly be saying that I never attemtped to call you... instead.. i'm IMed by someone... who is phrasing question painting full culpability... i am smarter than that.. and will not accept that. If someone asked you... Do you think you should be sued? what would you answer be? honestly?

I would really love to hear their picutre... just about everyone got a day by day blow of the events as they happned... I would ahve to be constructing the mother of all fables for 3 weeks... So again.. I'd love to hear their story. Regarding my part.. one of the employees.. ACCIDENTALLY THREW IT AWAY... realistically.. how does that happen? Employees go around throwing away parts? that aren't on the junk heap? thats a 1k part... sheer incompetence, if true...

I'm sure you've had good work done... the SC install looks awesome and so far running ok.
They were not able to tune the car cause they don't know the EMS. my gauage saysin 1i'm running 12.. the ems 9... why? sensors aren't calibrated...

The clutch?? most of the clutch is good.. propellor shaft not withstanding...

What truly sucks is their attitude... I een called them and said.. even if you call and say..Still working on it.. no part yet... I would be a happier person... but instead.. they won't answer the phone and I have to drive down there and wait 10-15 mins before they will even speak to me.

I surely hope.. and know inmy heart.. that had you known this would happen.. you would have done what you could to prevent it.

I'm a little shocked that you still stand by them.. alas.. youhave much longer history than I.... they are your friends.. so you are treated differently... I can understand that...

Again.. the CO position need not be filled right away... if you want it back eventually.. and not mmediately.. I can hold off on filling it.. a sabbatical of sorts... until you find yourself ready..

With a club that's as close to each other as we are, it's inevitable that disagreements will happen. It's nice to see that after the smoke clears (oh - bad word choice), everyone can at least try to put it behind them & move on.
