" Bat out of Hell Mod "
I haven't been a big Tommy fan, but he's not that bad. Warren is very cool. I hope you guys get it all worked out. You guys are all like family and it sucks even for me to read this stuff.
If Tommy can't do it, get Keith and get him off his butt to do something in four years besides a Super Meet. Or, get Matt, he's dying for something to do. Maybe he can drag all your sorry butts to The Dragon. Oh wait, Keith can do that too. See, you guys have so many good choices. That's something to be proud of.

"Bat Out o Hell Mod"? Heh. That's good.
Wanna hear something funny? I also went to DT (albeit in Broward) when I was looking for an installer. They wanted to charge me $500 for the install as well. Said it would only take 3 days. I was like "dam, this is TOO good to be true." And then I remembered what my momma taught me: if it sounds too good to be true, it prolly is. I asked them if they had ever done this particular install b4, as I knew it was a LOT more effort than the Comptech. They said "sure, we've done a Comptech S2000, and it was cake" (I'm paraphrasing). I said "hmmm, ok, let me get back to you."
Then I asked around. Did some research on the board. Talked to some people who'd done it. What I learned was that nobody decent would touch this install for less than $1K. If they do, they're either related to you, or they owe you a favor. And if they tell you they can do it in 3 days or less, then you KNOW they don't know what the fcuk they're getting into. Heck, it took my guy 5 FULL days working solo to get the job done. Keep in mind, all this guy works on is S2000's and NSX's...and he'd done at least 4 Comptech installs before (mine was his first Vortech), including Rick and Rita Case's.
In any event, I'm sorry all of this had to happen to you, bud. You live and you learn, I guess. I hope you can really enjoy the car after Frank tunes it. I know I am.
Now if I can just get my new battery delivered...

Ok..
so here is the prelim.
I had 2 oil leaks..
1 that appeared to be the Oil Temp feeder (or very near it)
another that was the gasket that attaches the oil cooler to the oil pan.
(the oil pan was removed to install the oil tap for the s/c)
I'm hearing a clicking out of the rear passengre wheel. I'd thought it was the spindle nut issue w/ the S's . But it doens't look like thats it.
There is a remote possiblity that its the TEIN itself.. and it just happens to be the problem. I'm gonna revert it back to stock and see what happens.
After that its off to honda for a checkup.
Thats all for now!
