blah im afraid now
1. Seat locks are a must and a very easy install. However - they will only piss off the thieves, so it's an active denial mechanism. They can tear up your car regardless.
2. CWP + Badge on car + easy-to-carry pistol + self control = peace of mind.
Good luck! Lord, I hate a thief - but a cocky lowlife like you describe threatening you is a real waste of carbon.

His name is Kodokan_4 and he's a member here. Seat locks go for $66 for 4 front locks. Or you can buy some button head bolts and fill the hexagonal holes with JB Weld. That compound gets hard as steel, there's no turning back after that though..your seats are in forever. Only way to remove them is by cutting the bolts off, but believe me, those bolts are the hardest steel available, you'd have to spend 7 hours trying to cut them with a grinder..anyways..
Front bolts: 8M-25mm-1.25(thread pitch)
Rear bolts: 10M-20mm-1.25(thread pitch)
Make sure the bolts are grade 12.9 steel. You can't even cut those suckers.

I've been saying this for years. People love saying that alarms are worthless and if a thief wants your car, he'll get it. Maybe so, but these aren't professional thieves jacking our seats - it's just a bunch of dumbass kids with clapped out Civics that can't afford anything more expensive than APC altezzas. I watched these forums for YEARS before I bought an S2000 because of the seat theft issue. After reading about over 20 seat seat thefts of S2000's I saw a trend: NONE of the burglared cars had a good alarm. So I went and got my S with a Clifford. Slept outside for FOUR years and it's mint red seats were never taken. They did try, but the alarm scared them off. I'm the only owner I know of with an alarm that they even attempted to steal the seats from. I think my count of stolen seats in this forum is up to 40 by now - still not ONE with a good alarm and seat locks.
