There was this one guy who had a Clifford who had his car jacked. But he didn't want to get into details. I am sure that he probably forgot to turn on the alarm. But like the other guy said, the average thief is not a professional, but you never know.

all you have to do is tell them that it's ok... they can take your seats because you have insurance but remind them...

"Now there are two types of balls. There are big brave balls, and there are little mincey faggot balls. Now, dicks have drive and clarity of vision, but they are not clever. They smell pussy and they want a piece of the action. And you thought you smelled some good old pussy, and have brought your two little mincey faggot balls along for a good old time. But you've got your parties muddled up. There's no pussy here, just a dose that'll make you wish you were born a woman."

Anybody who says that they will steal your shit in front you are idiots or got some balls. I hope you guys got seat locks, because for $66 , it is another line of protection ....they still might be able to tow your car or something but the average criminal isnt the "pro"
someone had said (can't remember who) that some thieves tried to get into the car... saw he had seat locks and the decided to torch the car.

I dont know if it was me and they slashed my top, I'd rather them take the damn seats... that way I can justify to myself having to my damn deductible... at least that way I get new seats and a new top... vs just a new top for the cost of my deductible.

I think the alarm is a great idea, hopefully it deters them from even messing with the car.... but once they've cut the top i say take the damn seats. (just leave the car there)

If I'm not mistaken the Ins. would deem the car total loss if the seats were stolen. Since they are so damn expensive, to replace them it would cost them like 9Gs, which would be very close to market price of the whole car ..so if you don't want to lose your car you'd have to spend on the seats yourself(5-8k) depending. This is what I read on another thread, don't quote me on it though.

it depends on the value of the car. a new s2k with seats stolen wouldnt get totalled... a an older one might

I think i asked one time about the seats to the dealership and i think they told me that each seat costs over $3500 , not sure if that included the brackets and other things .... the costs might be higher but thats why i tell people to get seat locks
