Default Boca Exhaust Question

Sorry to be MIA tonight (12-14). I have not slept since Sunday night. More so, today was my day "off" and what did I do besides catch up on the "honey, please do list"? I installed rear speakers on the S today. So here it is, approaching 10pm and I'm running out of go-go juice.

Mari and I will most definitely be there this Friday (9:30ish). See those who are going then.

After thought...my fellow So. Florida S2K brethren will have to enlighten me on which exhaust to purchase. Something not too loud, but will provide that deep / throaty sound.

When it comes to sound, based on the deep throaty sound you may prefer, Spugen has that market cornered. I have the Spugen dual ovals and I am always getting compliments on the sound.

Good luck on your search!

Thanks Jeff...
I've been leaning towards Spugen as well. Seems like the most bang for the buck and I've listened to an S2k online with a Spugen (vid clip). Deep and throaty without being overly loud is a good thing.

The only thing you get from a "Spoooooogen" is rust.

This is true to, as Rich said. The older exhaust, such as mine, showed oxidation after 4 months of use. Spugen blames a faulty painting process on this.

However, they stood behind all the claims to correct the problems.

All in all, the truth is that Spugen is nothing more than Magniflow mufflers on the pipes they fabricate.

Regardless, it sounds awesome!

Buy a Mugen exhaust or an Amuse Dual. Enough said.

Spugen = rust, obnoxious noise on the ones with cannisters.

Amuse. Highest quality, 100% titanium, lightweight (9lbs for the single, 13lbs for the dual), real HP gains (8HP for the single, 4HP for the dual) and good aggressive sound but not wake up the neighbors loud.

You should look into the T1R as well, best bang for the buck exhaust on the market.
