The T1R dual is nice too. I forgot about that one. I havent seen that one in person. I think Alex's is a little loud, but he has a single?
This is a kodak moment, Keith and I are on the same side of a debate.

Havent heard of anyone's Mugen or Amuse falling apart...
I didn't realize that the exhaust topic was such an issue. LOL
This is great feedback, thanks!! Spugen rusts? Hummm.... well, that's not good. As for Neuspeed, I have a personal biased against any Neuspeed product. Mugen and Amuse are rather pricey, but as with MOST things, you probably get what you pay for. As for the T1R, their website does not offer an application for the 04 / 05 model.
I simply want an exhaust that will add good sound without a) being toooooo loud, b) won't fall apart / rust out in a short period of time, and c) not rob power. Speaking of power, I realize that the exhaust won't do much for a power increase, however, my goal here is the sound issue. After all, a car like ours should purrrr.
Question: Does the stock exhaust have a resonator or something like that and if so, is it worth having it removed and keep the stock mufflers?

The Amuse Dual wasn't built for S/C applications to begin. Singles are the way to go for FI. Then he exacerbated the situation with the weld job.
This an isolated case. 99.9% of Amuse owners are satisfied with their exhaust.
I did this search about 6-7 months ago. I ended up with the Dual Spugen Ti. It was Fyrestrikes old one. It did have some rust on it. Took care of that by having Hot Shots in Davie sand it and jet coat it. They guarantee 1 year of no problems. So far none. Sound is great. Some say a little loud.
The exhaust decision is mostly opinion on sound and looks. However, quality and construction are linked to price. I always held the Amuse and Mugen in high regard. Price is high, but Titanium isn't cheat and Mugen doesn't sells anything under a $1000 for the engine.lol I have heard Keith's from outside the car and it sounds close to stock, but does add some extra sound that gives it some class. Worth hearing inside the cockpit.
Another to take a look at, does have some drone inside the car, but a great sound outside the car, is the Invidia. Both Richie and Aaron have this. Stainless steel, good middle of the road price, and has a nice look to it. Only difference from the above exhausts is it does come out at an angle, kinda of like 2 single exhausts on each side.
Good luck with your search. My only advice listen to most of the cars in the group, everyone has a different exhaust. It will save you money from buying the wrong exhaust.

Just be aware that a full Ti exhaust may not be the way to go if you plan on going FI.
