Well,

Now that everything mechanical is fixed on my car it's time to fix some of the everyday highway abuse..

I have pretty horrible roadchips on the front bumper/lip - Repainting always scares me but I guess I have no way out..

Any of you guys out there take your car for some paint work? I think I'm going to install the clear bra this time around too cause I don't wanna have to go through this twice.

Just wondering if nebody on here recommends a shop that will match perfectly and provide a good paint job with no orange peel/overspray

 

Sunshine Collision in Boca repainted my bumper and also KeithD's front & rear bumpers. I'm definitely happy with the work they did & would go back there if I needed more work done.

Not sure if you want to go that far though....

 

I work in Boca so that's not a problem - How much did they charge you for the front?

 

i would like to know how much too. my front end needs to be re-painted as well. stone chips all the way up on the damn hood!

 

I paid < $300 - but that was thanks to KeithD working out a deal w/ the guy beforehand. Plus, I paid cash, which always works wonders when trying to get a better deal.

I had my car done in March and I know Keith had his done much earlier, perhaps around October or November of last year.

No promises on prices with them. My hookup was a courtesy extended to me from a business transaction. I have no clue what they will charge, but they do good work.

What tips do you have on the clear bra? Any idea who has it and does a good install? I have a colgan bra for long trips, but it would be nice to have some everyday protection.

No. Don't know. Mitch got it for me.

I didn't borrow because the front end is going to get redone before HIN in December.
