Bramman Honda Service = Garbage
I took my car in yesterday to get the serpentine belt tensioner replaced. I tell the service advisor that the car has no dings, and only two scratches and specifically show them to him. We walk around the car and he acknowledges no dings. Well I go back to pick up the car last night, and of course now there are 4 very minor dings on the fender, you can clearly see where the tech was leaning on the car with his weight. Finger prints are still there. I tell the service advisor, he plays deaf and dumb and tells me I have to speak to the service manager. I show the manager the same thing, and he calls the tech out. Asks him, did you do a walk thru on this, and he says yes, and says nothing was on the car. well I point out the dings, and he acts surprised. The tech says that might of been there before. He says I told him the car had an intake before. I show the guy the finger prints clearly next to the dings. Well the service manager says I cannot prove that no dents where there before. I tell him I did a walk around with the service advisor. The dents can only be seen if looked at an angle, so he asks me if I did that with the service advisor, meaning looking at the fender at that same angle, I told him no, we just walked around and saw no dents. Needless to say, they are denying repairing the dents. Got to love these moron's working at the service dept. (Not intended towards Chris in any way) Time to take it up to the next level of management, but I have a feeling I am wasting my time. Why can't they just fix the damm car, and not damage it. Thats why I hate taking my car in for service, no accountability. I should of let the car blow up due to the tensioner going bad, at least I would not have any dents, or better yet, I should of just fixed it myself eventhough its still underwarranty, at least I would assure myself the work was done right with no dnnts!! Just venting!!!!!
PS: Chris, you still work at Bramman? Have any suggestions?

Talk to the GM and only the GM. Write up an acount of what happend, and tell the GM you would like handle this at his level, but that you have no problems contacting the Honda regional. If they walked the car and did not write down the damage it is there responsibility. Make sure you have the documentation that shows, that the car was walked through and that nothing was written down for that area of the car.
If need be tell him that you are really pissed and will stand on the corner of the dealership with a big sign that says, BRAMAN'S SERVICE DEPT DAMAGED MY CAR AND WON'T FIX IT.
One day of that and the business that walks, is way more costly then the repairs to your car. A dent wizard could probably fix it with no bodywork
hope it works out

MItch,
All I am asking for is the dent wizard charges. The dents are minor and will come out with the skilled hand of a PDR specialist.
They never did a formal walk around before the car was left for warranty work. It was pretty much me showing the guy the car and how there where no dings or scratches and the guy saying it will be ok. Never was anything documented, lets just say they are not the most thorough service dept. I never saw any paperwork like you see at a rental agency where dmg's are pointed out before taking the car.
I have a connection in the inside, a high level sales manager that is trying to do something for me, if he can't resolve this, then I will take it up to the next level.

Oh man this service dept is great. It gets even better.
I went to get gas today, go to pay with my speed pass and notice its not on my keychain anymore. Well i call it in stolen, and ask if any transactions have occurred since I left the car at the dealer, and of course there are 3 transactions for gas right by the dealer. Problem is they happened right after I picked up the car from the dealer. What a bunch of crooks.

This is why I only take my S2000 to Rick Case and talk to Eddie (SpoonS). I used to take it to Braman Honda, since they are close to my house, for oil changes but after they f*cked up a simple job, never again.

Spoon-s, no walk around was done by the service advisor, he just wanted the keys and wanted to go on to the next car. I personally dragged him out and walked around the car with him, but he never documented anything or wrote anything down.
I just noticed on my receipt of service, that they told me i was 2 quarts low on oil and that I was told of this, as well as notifying me that one of my exhaust bolts was loose and I was notified of this.
I wonder who they spoke to, because this was never even brought up to me.
Service at braman's service dept is to say the least, horrible.
Spoon-s, next time, I am hauling my car up to you up in Rick Case.
If I would of known!! Damm it

BTW If the porter that took your car in was a really skinny kid (about 5'10" and maybe 115lbs. really big ears and a big head) that kid is a crook and a bastard, I went to school with him. MY PERSONAL OPINION if you left something in your car that son of a bitch took it.
