Again, I do appreciate the support. I did talk with Warren and expressed my interest. It is an endeavor that I can definitely fit into my schedule.

Thanks again, everyone!!!

Late to the thread but may I offer a suggestion: It might be easier for whomever
assumes the new role to have Dan operate as a forum moderator. I see no reason
to saddle a community organizer with the mundane task of monitoring threads.
This would allow both positions to be filled with highly competent individuals and
allow each to concentrate on their individual responsibilities.
A forum moderator is essentially a peacekeeper and standards official while a community organizer's task (to me) would appear to be significantly more time-involved (especially when organizing group events) and this would allow
Matt to concentrate on that responsiblity without having to worry if we're all
behaving in here.
Either way, kudos to all for stepping up.

Unfortunately Russ thats not the way they want us doing it. They don't want to have a CO as strictly a forum moderator. That is supposed to be a tertiary responsibility of the CO to deleted things. Honestly there isn't actually much moderating that needs to be done, at least as of late. I don't remember the last time I deleted a post!

You mean to tell me if I post a pic of Nikki in a thong at an upcoming pool party, when it gets deleted I
have to blame Matt? Dan would of let that sucker fly man!

Seriously though, I can understand that. I was just thinking of how much Matt
travels for his job and I wasn't sure if he uses a laptop during his movements or
how much access he has to the site while away from home but you're right, we've
been good here lately. Most insults are accepted graciously.
I nominate Matt, whom I think would do an excellent job.
