Very true, Your insurance company wether you have full coverage or not has to replace it for free by law. And make sure you ask to have the dealer replace it with an OEM one. Dont accept that aftermarket mikinbin shit made in hialeah.

They dont "have to", well only if you have comp insurance or full coverage, you can have liability and still have it covered. I sold windshields for a while and I know a thing or two. I changed mine to a pilkington glass witch is on high end cars like new BMWs maseratti or basically ANYTHING expensive. Just give your insurance a call and they will say you have the choice to choose whatever shop you want(as long as you have the coverage). Most will give safe lite due to cheap labor...and they have literally recycled glass. Either oem or pilkington would be sugested. My .02

For what it's worth don't go with the OEM windshield. I did and it pitted very quickly and eventually cracked within 6 months of replaceemnt. I had to have it replaced again.

The Glass company that did the work said the Honda OEM windshields are not as good of quality as many of the aftermarket products. They told me that but I insisted on OEM, I replaced it with a PPG windshield and havent had any issues.

Good Luck!
