Default Damn Rain!

So who's worried about all this rain lately? I've got an AEM CAI, and had to slowly drive through some standing water today. Luckily it wasn't too too deep. I just put on my By Pass Valve on, but I'm wondering if it's really going to matter. Any thoughts?

Really... the BPV is something that can be readily removed and installed? As I understand it, its supposed to be effective.

With the bypass valve you should have nothing to worry about. Just be careful anyways though...

if you have heavy flooding where you live then ya it could become a big problem. around where i live there there is no standing water so i don't worry about it and i have the aem. if you have the bypass valve on your pretty safe. nothing is 100% when you have a cai. but now you have a lot less chance of hurting your car. just becareful. don't drive in heavy rain unless you have too. do everything possible to go away or around standing water.
