Default Dynamic Turbo-claws!

Ok..

I'm talkin about Dynamic Turbo in Doral....

Well I don't know how many of you have heard me complaining at how badly the car has been running....

No tweak I've made has made any significant stable repair...

I still run 12:1 AF when not under load.....

At idle...the car runs below 10:1 .. and often stalls....

I've changed the spark plugs twice... and also an ignition coil that seemed to have been cracked...

Changed the oil like a madman... cleaned the air filter...

NOTHING!!!

Well.. i finally made it into a mechanic .. Mike w/ MCA Motorsports.... he took while lookin the car over.. played w/ the aem some.. which stabilized it for a whopping 5 minutes...

Confused we take another look at the fuel system...

We find that the Fuel Pressure Regulator seems to have failed...

We order a new one.. and we examine the old unit to determine the point of failure.......

We find that there is washer in the FPR being held in by SILICONE GLUE THATS RIGHT.....[SIZE=14]SILICONE GLUE[SIZE=1]

the FPR was bolted down w/ the incorrect bolts....

The diaphragm had a hole in it...

Dynamic Turbo-claws... man those claws stay in you long!!!

Anyways... Mike tweaked the regulator and it seems to be running much nicer now....

Glad to see it's running good now, I still think you could have used the stock FPR though.

Now all you need is a header! I think someone around here is selling one....

at the time.. the answer given was..

it was tuned using the old adjustable fpr... so if you change it back to stock.. it may be necessary to do a full retune to compensate for the different FP.

it was said that it was my best chance of fixing w/ minimal retuning...

say .. are you auto-xing sunday also?
