um. okay..

well after my accident, something happened in my gas tank and it won't measure how much gas i have.. (i'm guessing its some sort of sensor)

i took it to the Honda and they were going to charge me $200 just to see what was wrong with it.. its not all about the money, i just don't have the time to sit and wait around for them to diagnose the car..

anyway, is there any way that this can be checked out?

i can help in bringing some food and drinks....

thanks in advance!

Update:

S2ksuzuka: Fluids / tools
Erick S: Fluids
Myculito: Fluids / slave cylinder mod (what is this? time to install?)
machine age victim: Knowledge
Buzilanga: Knowledge
Batikan: Springs (may not have enough time) / rotors / tools
Verist: straight pipe / slave mod
Jalin-o: gas tank problem (questionable on time)
hondahead 420: header
designfreak: fluids / diffusors / tools
doorman: fluids / pads / clutch lines
lhp sailor1p: fluids
nip2k1s2k: fluids / valve adj. ( questionable on attendence of someone to do)

Dates and location are still to be determined. Please stay tuned.

One point of interest to those that have never attended a tech day. This is not an all out install anything, fix anything on our cars. We do not have access to lifts or anything necessary for major automotive work. These are intended for simple non-time consuming jobs i.e. fluids, pads, diffusors, etc. Major work like springs, clutch swaps, fuel tank removals, or major engine work will not be performed. The main reason is that all work started must be completed in a short amount of time in order to get everyone taken care of.

Also please be aware that all work is performed with full liability on yourself, meaning the owner of the vehicle. S2ki, community organizers, nor the people performing the work will not be any liable for damage to the vehicle(s). This is to say that if you don't trust your car in the hands of someone else, don't have work done here, unless you do it yourself.

The intent is for friends to get together to help everyone learn to do simple maintenance on our cars. I will try to accommodate everyone that requests help.

Last, but not least if you are coming to tech day, even to just hang out; it is appropriate to bring some food or drink. We will not take advantage of those opening their homes or driveways to us.

Stay tuned for updates!
