Looking for info on packing it and picking a carrier, I've used RL before to ship a hood and they destroyed it. Any idea on the approx. cost to do this too?

Thanks!

Ive shipped a block out and transmissions through DHL with no problems. If it packed correctly you should not have a problem. The transmission weighed a hair over 100 pounds and it cost me $9X bucks to ship to California.

Hmm, I think an F20C weighs about 300?... How did you package the block?

A friend of mine recently shipped out his motor. I forgot where he got it, but he used one of those wooden pallets, wrapped it in that clear shipping plastic and strapped it down. He used DHL

Or, use the pallet plus build a cage around it with wood along with the straps or enclosed in a box.
