The 2-3 HP loss is a MYTH. Never been proven. It's one of those things that showed up in a post one time and everybody went to town with it.

Prove that it DOES lose power.

I have HKS on my S2K and I don't feel any loss in power honestly. It feels a bit lighter, of course sound is louder now, and it looks sexi

I am not trying to brag about HKS because I have it, but I don't see anything wrong with having it on the car besides it being a tad bit expensive.

see... that's what i don't get... why spent 1k+ for an exhaust that'll make you maybe 10hp tops. i'd rather get a good intake or snorkel, and hondata reflash and call it a day. for anything more i'd rather go with a turbo or a blower.

yeah but boost you are looking at over 10 grand atleast...

Plus if I go boost it would be nothing less than a GT4508R Twinscroll Turbo and that is 2800 alone.

10k?!?!? wtf hell no lololol

a headgasket, an aem, a good turbo setup and supporting mods and tuning can be done for a lot under 10k.

and why the hell would u need a GT45R? looking to crack 1000whp?

a 35R is all you need for good street power on an S... 350-500whp. maybe go 4088R for a lil more or something but shit

Manley rods and Endyn pistons along with a balanced crank
Honda F20C S2000 Intake Manifold with 77mm Throttle Body
Joe alaniz head
Full Race Stage 3 turbo kit minus turbo (Along with Wiggins Clamps)
HKS TO4Z Turbo
Custom 80mm Ti straight pipe all the way back with a burnt tip... (For the JDM crowd)
Hondata Kpro along with some Defi Gauges....
Tracy Sport Lightweight Hi-Volume Fuel Rail & Lightweight Pulley Set
PPG Gear Sets - 6 Speed Syncro Gear Set
Inline pro rear Diff conversion
Tilton Clutch assembly
Grex Oil cooler
M and M Honda Transmission Cooler
a 6 Pot Front Brake Conversion (Don't forget Stopping power!!!!)
J's racing Rear Control Arm Set, Pillow Ball (Don't need bump steer)
J's racing SPL Rear Roll Center Adjuster
J's Racing Tie Rod End Set, PIllow
A set of Weld wheels with slicks on them!

Give me a S2k w/ tp and hks vs my 02 w/ test pipe. 3 runs from 45... see who is slower.
