Well from other post you get the idea that i JUST moved down here, My gf and I are staying with family of mine while we search for housing.

Ill be honest i hate renting and putting cash into other peoples equity for their homes, but at this exact moment im not ready to buy a house (especially not with the market dropping)

So does anyone know of any places to look or have any ideas for housing ?

requirements:

id like to spend 900 amonth (plus my own utilities)
a garage is a huge plus
as far as area - School in Davie and work in Sunrise. so far.(Gf not me)

 

The belmont north lauderdale is a great gated community where a 2 bedroom with garage goes for around $1100.

 

Unless North Lauderdale has changed dramatically, that's probably not an area you want to live in. A few years ago, I took a class with teachers who worked at an elementary school there. Apparently Dominoes stopped delivering to the school there because their drivers had been robbed too many times.
