Well if we are doing this for the end of May i will be down there anyways for Memorial Day weekend so it will fall into place for me 
i will be checking in at 12pm on May 27 and check out on Sunday May 29 and they have rooms as cheap as $169 a night

May is a bit too soon. We should set this up for some time in June. This way we all have enough time to get time off of work/school and give the broward members a heads up, it is a bit of a drive for them. I'm not even going to be here memorial weekend.

Alex, since you are in the area and you know it better than we do, you might need to organize this. As far as locations, hotels, (you might get a group rate if you inform them of the car club), picnic areas etc... I know Di and Erick know some spots in the Keys and they can advise.
Besides, if we hold off till June, we can probalby generate a larger group by giving extra lead time to prepare.

June would be perfect...and the water warmer. 
If we do Key West...Pierhouse, CasaMarina...I think theres a new Marriott (might be a timeshare?) come to mind. If I remember correctly, these Hotels all have private parking for guests only..which is a plus. Most of the nicer bed and breakfast wont be able to accomodate space or parking I believe. I could be wrong. Alex, hit us up with the info..
