Default Just got a new toy!

So I finally found the right car for the next project- just bought a 1991 FC RX-7 with no accidents, and a strong engine to gut and turn into an IT-S SCCA car! All black- looks like darth vaders old car.

Im dying to get it out on the track, it feels so much like the s2000. Hopefully should start tearing out interior pieces and planning out the roll cage this weekend!!!

mmmmmmmm- nothing like another toy in the garage to help you get over seat thieves!

It's one of my favorite cars - nicely balanced, relatively lightweight, and a high-strung high-revving rotary engine! You'll have fun with it, I'm sure.

Nice, one of my favorite classic import sports car, next to the Supra! My dad almost purchased one for me when I was 22 until I found out the insurance on it.

Yeah- its funny how similar the engine feels to the s2000- it comes woderfully alive with that raspy rotary sound at 6K.

I'll send you some pics if you want to post Dieger- my driveway is starting to look more and more like hialeah with cars everywhere

hopefully I'll be riding up with you for some Chin events soon once she is ready for some fine tunning before entering races.

-no more "don't wanna hurt the S2000" excuses on my part!
