Default just got OWNED

So I got a ticket a couple of months ago... speeding 76 in a 40 and wreckless driving. Gave it to my lawyer, went to court today. I guess the judge didn't get any last night and was in a bad mood, said that I had "one of the worse driving records" hes ever seen. He recited my record in 2003 - 9 speeding, 1 careless driving, 1 wreckless driving, 1 illegal lane change, 1 HOV lane violation (all dismissed, 0 points). Well this time the judge threw the maximum penalty at me... $500, 8 hours of traffic school... and 3 focking points. $500 and 8 hours of school is whatever but why oh why the points!

Doh! Well....I hate to say it, and I mean this with all the props in the world, but that IS a pretty horrid driving record bro! LOL. I'm amazed you still have a license

Ouch! That sucks.

Sorry to hear..

But you've gotten off quite a bit... win some.. lose some...

economy is horrid.. no job = no taxes collected for the state... gotta have some revenue...

there is a huge initiative on aggressive driving...

hopefully it will all blow over in the coming months.

Hey I got a $93 ticket for wreckless driving up here in Tallahassee. I wish I was home in Miami because I could have a lawyer take care of it, but instead I will be doing traffic school!

In case anyone was wonering what the hell I did...just keep on wondering because I hate telling the story.

yeah I'm down with DaWorm's comment on economy- man I saw at least 10-15 highway patroll cruisers just on my way to work this morning- looks like somebody's trying to meet the end of the month quota real quick!- sorry to hear they nailed you

WOW Mav

i've only had 2 tickets ever, and those were a quarter century ago or more. Very Impressive, in a strange sort of way. I"ve never known anyone to do that. It's a standing record in my book!

Mav, I think you need an 8500 with lidar shifting more than anything else in the world. it's cheaper than a lawyer. Sorry about the hefty fine and school. How did you get so many dismissed? Use the same lawyer everytime?

good luck
