Most of the time when I get pulled over in Miami, its not a problem... two of my high school friends are now cops, and I know several cops from the Doral Station since they work out at my gym. I usually don't even get a ticket, except in Broward. Other times, I ask one of my friends to call the cop who issued the ticket to simply not show up to court (instant case dismissed, no fine, no points). And if all else fails, I have a good lawyer.

Well this time, the cop who issued the ticket was one of those ignorant discriminating assholes who went to court, faked the radar reading. I know I was speeding but I was NOT going 76MPH as he claimed, it was around 55MPH. And changing lanes while even using the turn signal doesn't constitute wreckless driving. And the judge, your honorable diskhead who just wants to make the local government a few bucks off me, went for the maximum fine allowed.

The fine and school is whatever... Fine can be paid, I'll take the stupid 8 hour school over a 2 minute internet session - done. But the points!

MAV. Next time send the ticket to ticketclinic.com no points to your license, you don't have to go to court, no driving school, no insurance increase, that is the best.

That would work... if he didn't have 9 speeding ticketsd, 1 careless driving ticket , 1 wreckless driving ticket, 1 illegal lane change ticket, 1 HOV lane violation ticket... (TOTAL OF 13 TICKETS!!) But considering Mav drives like an @$$hole, i would consider it highly unlikely.

2 questions:

1) How many times can you do traffic school?

2) Do you go and pay the ticket first and then go to traffic school or vice versa?

1 - Once per year unless court appointed.

2 - You have 30 days to pay and 120 days to attend traffic school.

OK well then it says on the ticketclinic website that their traffic school can reduce the ticket by 18%. How can it do that if you pay the ticket before??
