While I agree that SoFla needs their own "CO's" I think at the present time this format works. Why? Because it's only been a little over a week since the drama and right now the FLORIDA CO's are unbiased and are fishing out the bad people/threads from the board. So let things continue to cool down for the next couple weeks and then bring our CO's back. Right now i'm glad we got our own.. (sub)forum!

Warren has done nothing but good for this board. If anyone ever dare says this man does not go to broward meets you have not been around long enough. He drives the farthest of anyone and he rarely ever complains. Dade, Broward, even Palm Beach. So it isn't bad he at least is getting a small rest. BUT I do think he should be back as far as CO.

I'm sorry Dario i barely even know you, but i do know that you have done a lot for the SoFla community and have organized some great meets (SuperMeet, and Indy Meets).

If there ever is a Broward CO implemented this person needs to show that they are ready for the task at hand, can monitor things peacefully and of course has to have been a member of S2Ki for at LEAST one (1) year!

1) Keep Warren, as CO for the HUGE DADE community, he is well known and has MANY years Behind him + he is mature.

2) Maybe (i said maybe) a Broward-Palm beach CO just to organize stuff up here for reasons we all know.

4) Assign a higher unbiased UNPOLITICISED member from the high S2ki management to be a SUPER MONITOR/MODERATOR for the South FL Chapter considering what happened, that person must not have any EMOTIONAL involvement with members of any kind, therefore NEUTRALITY will reign.

What is so wrong about relaunching the South FL community as it was before?

If SoCal, Bay Area, Houston, New Orleans, NYC can have it's own community, why can't South FL again?

At the very least Miami should be its own community. Demographically, it is far different from the rest of FL.

Agree or not, this subforum format is a bad idea. It was a bad idea 5 years ago and it's a bad idea again now.

 

Because it didn't work. It self destructed.

 

It worked very well for the past 5 years, up until recently.

So because of recent problems, everything that happened in the past 5 years is just simply forgotten and thrown away?

Now that the troublemakers have been banned, why not relaunch it as it was?

Mav your point is moot and tired. Please concentrate your efforts on something constructive.

You and whoever your deem is your followers on this issue are welcome to start your own forum website. Until then, if you want to contribute to this forum, you will have to conform to its layout. Take it or leave it. I dont think any other CO or site administrator will entertain any more from you on the subject, I certainly wont.

Type away and do whatever you want to champion your cause. I dont think it is going to change anything.

Sorry it did not go the way you wanted it to but this is not your personal forum, no matter how instrumental you were during its inception.

To everyone else, thank you for making the best of this transitional time. We will all do our very best to get things to their own level ASAP.

People seem to support Warren and Dario strongly...I dont know management's stance on reinstating them but if they continue to show leadership and things get worked out on the administrative front, a case may be able to be made for them down the road.
