Just noticed...
if you read the post again carefully, you will see it is not who you think it is, bad gramer and all. its mildly ammusing to see you all jump to conclusion. never assume.
i thought all the drama was suppost to end but here stands.
there are way to many followers blindly jumping in on something they know absolutely nothing about
you know what they say after all, let sleeping dogs lie.
why dont we all start acting for the greater good for once?
IBTL.

A little sociology here, as a group grows in numbers the propensity for it to break off into smaller groups grows. That is, there is a certain carrying capacity for any active organization before rifts begin to appear and "separatists" emerge.
The question here is, is the south Florida group as a whole manageable given the large numbers and growth potential? Would it be simpler to divide the region into two distinct groups and utilize common ground that all members can gather in and contribute?
I would say yes. And given the demographics of the region I would challenge anyone here to find two counties that are so close in proximity, but so divergent in terms of culture.
Ultimately you control your own destiny, I would hate to see history repeat itself due to rather simple and foreseeable events.
2 more pennies.

elgringo and crazy larry are not a part of this community.
But thank god they are gone because they drama has completely stopped since they left.
So does this mean I am banned now? Because I stood up against you. Or am I banned for pointing out blatant aragance or is it ignorance? Or is it truth? Regaurdless I bet I am banned.
Adios.

I too thought we had gotten past this. Apparently not. I find it cowardly to post such things under a hidden cloak.
Clearly what was happening was not working. Now things seem to have calmed down.
I may be fueling the fire here, but last time I checked it was not necessary to attend meets to be part of this community. There are many ways to contribute. sharing info about the car, helping others with product choices based on experience, technical issues that one person may have experience with, but not another, tech days
All of those things contribute to the community. Many of us have been here a long time, and have attended many meets and made countless contributions to the community as a whole. However, life changes, social and work obligations change. those are just two reasons why some of the long time members may not make it to meets. Certainly the recent events didn't help the community come together socially.
For me this club has been about the car and the people. As I have said before there are a few people that I have met from participating that will be life long friends.
That will not change whether or not this club continues to exist or not.
As I see it the problem is not cancer, it's an attitude based on an opinion.
Every one is entitled to an opinion, but everyone else may not share the opinion or wish to hear about it after the fact.
What I will say is that based on the postings since South Florida has been re-instated is that the vast majority (it's all there in writing) agree with the way things are now and are working to move things forward.
I am a member of this and other S2k sites. it looks like another site is about to form a south Florida chapter, and it looks like it's going well and will happen in the near future. cu dos, the other group has found a home and obviously has enough followers to make it work. Up until now, there was no South Florida chapter over there and they should be congratulated on working hard to make that happen.
Seems to me the two groups involved have irreconcilable differences, which means a divorce is probably necessary. now both groups seem to be thriving in there respective homes.... sometimes divorce is a good thing (I'm still friends with my ex).
I think that's all there is .... time to move on
imho
