Luke,

I got covered in water spots by a broken sprinkler when I was out of town for a few days. I guess the sun baked them in pretty good . . . I've gone nuts . . . I tried vinegar and all I did was make my car smell like a pickle. I tried clay bar, nada. I tried scratch-x . . . somehow I think I added swirls and didn't remove the water spots, lol. I even tried high pressure water that one of the wash and wax wacko's recommended to dislodge them. Nothing happening . . . can you help and what am I looking at ballpark price? If you are going to say you need to see the car, just picture swiss cheese . . . water spots everywhere.

Really weird, I posted some replies a few days ago but they've disapeared from the forum

Anyways, Mat give the shop a call for pricing, make sure you remind them your with the S2KI club. I'm home sick with some kinda flu right now but I'll probably be back by friday (I'm hoping). If you'd rather deal with me just wait till then and I'll take care you you.

To Jsmply: you would be looking at Wash&Wax + Pollution Removal. If the spots are deep in the clearcoat, we'd probably have to highspeed it (especially if you really have swirls in there).

To Evo Girlie & GDM S2K: I've reposted a short price list at the bottom of this post for you guys.

To OGPackin: Saturday is fine but as always you gotta make an appointment for Saturdays, b/c I only have the crew here for a short while and then give them the rest of the weekend off.

Quick Run-down:
---------------------
Detail: $89.95 for S2000's only. I'll make an exception for the EVO also since is a small car like the S. (more info about our Details can be found at beginning of this thread).

Wash & Wax: $60 (basically like the detail service but no interior)

We don't do "just a quick wash" or anything like that, sorry. I'd say you'll save money by going to a Tunnel carwash but seriously you're better off washing it yourself at home.

Clay Service: $19.95 / panel (or for $99.95 the whole car) Will need washing & waxing after this (we can do it or you can do it yourself at home but I don't recommend driving around in the sun without wash & waxing).

Wetsand Service: $39.95 / panel (or for $240 the whole car) Will REALLY need washing & waxing after this (again we can do it or you can do it yourself at home)

Pollution Removal: from $39.95 depending on condition (this price is added to a Detail or a Wash&Wax. cannot choose this alone, since to do this step you HAVE to wash the vehicle.)

Paintless Dent Removal: $49.95 / panel (up to 2 small dents on that panel will be removed). Large dents, or more than 2 small dents on the panel will cost more. The service is usually per estimate but I think you'll find the prices very reasonable.

We also do tinting and here are the prices I can offer:

PremiumTech brand (1yr limited warranty)
Fully tint S2000: $79.95
2 Front windows: $49.95
1 Window (side or rear): $39.95

LLUMAR brand (lifetime warranty)
Fully tint S2000: $99.95
2 Front windows: $59.95
1 Window (side or rear): $49.95

Front strip for either PremiumTech or LLUMAR is $10 if added when we are tinting the whole car, $30 if it's a standalone job (because we use a large sheet of tint that gets wasted, normally we do the back window and front strip together)

Now it's my understanding that tint pricing gets cheaper and cheaper the further south towards Miami you go. If that's true, let me personaly say don't be stupid, go where it's cheaper. Just realize that any tinter can put any brand of tint on your windows and you won't know the difference when the tint is still new/fresh (you'll find out in 6-12 months when it turns purple or starts to crack/bubble). Save money, but not at the cost of quality. The prices I've put here are lower than the discounts and sales I offer to the general public and in West Palm Beach and Boca/Delray they are really competitive, in my opinion.

I think I'll sticky this info since you're our only local pro detailer, there's no conflict with vendors/sponsors in our forum....

He says that because there are still people left in the population who have not developed OCD like us, lol.
