I bought it when I got my car. When you buy it from the dealer, it doesn't come on the car already, they notify Lo-jack and then Lo-Jack calls you and makes an appointment to come to your house and install it.

DO NOT BUY LO-JACK!

Lo-Jack can be be easily disabled.

Get a GPS based tracking device.

Want to know how to disable Lo-Jack send me a PM and I will tell you why your car is not safe with it.

The internet and freedom of information act. LoJack is shit. Sends out a fawking signal and not the location. All you need is a frequency (which I know and is easily obtainable) and something that can jam that frequency and your Lojack don't fawking work no mo

*** EDIT ***

Here is a device which has been refined to do any range of blocking/jamming. It was made for Cell Phones but now works with WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, etc. Since LoJack works at the Radio Frequency 173.075 MHz than it can be blocked. Especially since this device and many like it work up to 20 Feet then your LoJack can be blocked. I have downloaded schematics and will decide if building this device is worth the effort. If it does work I'd love to test it on a car that has LoJack. If it works... we can go stealing cars =D

ok now I dont know what to do... I have a clifford on the car right now and Ive read about the new GPS add on for clifford alarms but it seems to confusing..paying monthly and it works off of points, the more times you see where your cars located it charges you certain amount of point and in one month your only allowed a specific amount of points...stupid I think but IDK ..maybe someone here has one and can simplify it better for us..all i know is that I want more security.
