Default moroso quarter mile

Erg, i just came back from moroso last night, spent 4 hours and got 7 runs total =P my best time was a 14.2 @96 mph... erg i know the s2000 is not a "strait" car but i thought they were high 13's.... anyone with some tips for quarter mile times?? i was running 35psi tires and then i lowered the psi down to 27 and i would just get massive wheel spin nasty.. Oh yea, my car is bone stock MY03 with ~25% tread stock potenza's... and not to mention it was scorching yesterday!!

ps. i finally weighed my car in, and it was ~2630 without me in it

Your car must've had no fuel in it. I thought s2k's weight 2800lb. I'm confused.

96mph? that's a little strange. You should trap higher. Make sure you do all your maintnance. Especially your air filter. My00 ran a 14.2 @ 99 and a 14.0 @ 98 at moroso. At that time I believe I had weighed in at 2790 but i dont trust the scale at moroso at all. My crx weighed 1850 on boost and went back n/a on the same drivetrain and weighed close to 2050. So it's pretty inaccuate. Lets hit up countyline and we can discuss burnouts

a lil lower than stock but not much it's not a drag radial or slick. but the lower pressure should help it bite a lil better. stock is 32psi i'd go to say 28psi maybe 26. that's just me though.

Those times are pretty good. Like others have mentioned, it's really hot out even at night, and once you improve your launch, times will come down. Also, if your tires are old and worn, that will hurt your ETs.

Try again in the winter, and I bet you do better.
