Beautiful thing about state farm is their is no surcharge on tickets. You have an allowance.

I have 1 accident in my mustang, 1 drag racing ticket in my mustang and now one accident in my NSX (mustang was not my fault) and my insurance is $240 a month for maximum coverage. I'm only 19 and i have/had the 10% student discount and some other stuff i think

Great State farm rep: Mike DuBois office...ask for Chris: 954-473-2202

Another thing to realize is that "State Farm" actually encompasses several different underwriters, all with different rates. State Farm Mutual Insurance has the lowest rates of them...but they won't let you in unless you've been a customer for several years. Others for example are called SF Property & Casualty, SF Fire & Casualty, etc. Depending on your driving history, points, credit rating (why???), you could be underwritten by any of these, and the rates vary quite a bit.

While they may not have a "surcharge" on tickets, they will jack you around by hopping you around and removing certain 'discounts' if you have points (we found this out the hard way from an out of state ticket my wife didn't contest - stupid, stupid). I just got tired of dealing with them.

Another tip I'll throw out there.....if you only have $50k property damage coverage (for damage you cause to other people's vehicles/property), look into bumping it up to $100k, it usually only costs a few dollars extra per year. But there are PLENTY of cars in south florida worth more than $50 that you could hit in a crash, not even counting the possibility of a multi-car crash. With a $50k limit, you'd be personally responsible for anything going over. The $100k gives you some extra margin of safety.

I pay 107 for my s and and 70 for my daily driver with state farm. My daily driver is a new policy so eventually it will go down.
