my experience with road rage this weekend...
Setup...
So my friend and I were heading to the Grove for lunch Saturday. I was on Sunset Drive (72nd Street) eastbound and the intersection of US1, on the right lane, at the red light. Across from me on Sunset westbound was a green Rav4. On US1, facing southbound was a white Corsica on the left turn lane.
Road Rage!
The light turns yellow, then red. The white Corsica made the left turn a few seconds late due to oncoming traffic on US1. The guy in the green Rav4 started honking because the Corsica blocked him on the green for a split second while she made the left turn. The Rav4 then suddenly makes a u-turn in the middle of the intersection, cutting the BMW next to me in the left off, making him swerve in my lane to avoid him. I slam the brakes and move over to the right to avoid the BMW and pass him. The Rav4 then chases after the Corsica, still honking. The Corsica turned into this tiny parking lot on the rightside on Sunset. The next thing that happened, I couldn't believe... The Rav4 still going after the Corsica turns into the same parking lot and REAR ENDS the Corsica!!!!!!!!!!! The driver of the Rav4 then gets out, screaming F You and F that and F this and KICKS the door of the Corsica. The driver, a female, in the Corsica freaks out and gets out of her car. In shock my friend and I witness all this. I stop my S behind the Rav4.
Psycho tries to leave.
The Rav4 driver is there YELLING at this poor lady and looked like he was about to just beat her. I step in and told the lady to move away and the man gets in my face. I tell my friend, Racquel, to call the cops. The guy then tries to leave the scene... I'm thinking OK this psycho might try to back into my car to leave so I went to the passenger side and took his keys out of the ignition. He gets in my face again and tries to sucker punch me but misses. I locked his arm behind his back and pinned him against his Rav4... then the cops showed up. Meanwhile this poor lady in the Corsica is in tears, my friend was in shock and a small crowd gathered around. After taking our info and witness statement, we left.
Some people in this world, like this psychopath, do not deserve to be born.

I think they were going to... I wasn't sure, when we left the scene, the supervisor was being called in. Not sure why...
The Rav4 owner was a white male in his 40's, about 5'8", 165lbs.
Yea yea I'm a midget, but I know how to fight.
He was lucky I didn't break his arm.

You go, Tommy!
Too many people would've just driven by and not cared. I'm glad that you pulled over and had the balls to do something about it. Who knows what might have happened if no one stopped. I wonder if there's any way for you to follow up on what happened after the police got there.....
