Page 2 has a GIF of the pics into a video.

Page 3 has the onboard camera.

From the driver (copied from the other thread)-

Hey all, here are the pics of my crash at mid-o this wknd. Data said I was going about 95mph when I went off the back straight before 7. Some kind of brake failure. Had brakes for a split second then nothing. Slowed from 130 down to 95. Someone said I flipped about 9 times. Cartwheeled over the gravel trap and catapulted over the tire barrier and then over/through a 18 foot fence and ended up in the spectator area. Officials said they have never seen a car go that far out or seen a crash like that at mid-ohio. I

Wow, I'm glad he made it out fine. This is a real testament to why proper equipment makes all the difference.

Sounds like was f****d no matter what, but maybe he could of slammed into 2nd gear and let the engine over rev? That would have dropped his speed a bit right Santi?

I know Alex and Rene are headed up there soon, I hope they make it back with no drama or bad luck like this fellow.

naw, that would have just locked up the rears and spun him... maybe making the flips worse.

he should have just gone straight, and not try to turn. then noting would have really happened.

Dude, but did you see how fast he was trying to take that turn. I think he over did it a bit on the speed in that corner.

naw, that corner's taken at like 50-55 mph. He says that telemetry showed he slowed down from 130 to 95 mph in the second or 2 where he had brakes... or at least before he went flying. Replace the 2 secs. of 'coasting' after his brakes failed, with braking time and he would have been able to slown down to cornering speed.

the craziest thing about race cars more than the speed and acceleration, is how deep and fast a car can decelerate.

rule #1 just go into the gravel straight
