Does anybody know of someone who knows alot about ap1 s2000's? I need somebody who knows all about the engine & body and how things should overall look, feel, sound, etc with everything about the s2000. This is gonna be my first s2000 and I wanna make sure I don't get dicked...When I finally do find the one I want to buy I would like for this person to hopefully come with me and check everything out. I'm a local Miami native so I hope to join the club legitimately soon. I appreciate any help guys...thanks.

 

For being a past ap1 owner I can tell u things to pay attention too.
1. Make sure all vin tags match are on every body panels
2. Make sure tranny shifts smooth in all gears.
3. Ask for all maintenance records or what maintenance has been done
4. Examine the soft top to make sure there aren't any holes
5. Start the engine and listen for any out of the ordinary sounds
6. Look for rust in wheel wells, engine bay, and trunk.
7. While doing a test drive listen very carefully to any weird cabin vibrations, or rear differential wine.
8. Last thing I can think of is do a car fax
