Try using a fishing line steel leader. I can get you some at the next meet or even cut it for you. Acetone is not a good idea it will eat up the paint (think of your nails) wet sand the area with 1200-1600 grid wet sand paper and buff. Not 100% garantee though. Let me know.
Is this for my badge issue or my friends car with the glue on the car?

Thanks again for the suggestions! I was thinking acetone for my friend's car but I was afraid it woudl damage the paint... as for my badge that is superglued I know for a fact I would damage the paint just because I would need alot for this to come off

This may sound funny but it may help.

I once super glued my hands together while doing a project. My dad immediately went to the hardware store and they sold a gel that would dissolve super glue. It was literally called super glue remover. ask around

3m used to have an adhesives hotline. It's probably now on their website. They can tell you what to use that won't remove paing (if anything)

It is made by Loctite.

Ingredient: ACETONE (SARA 313) (CERCLA)


Gently removes all types of instant glues and adhesives quickly and safely

Nothing on damaging paint
