it's been awhile since i posted.. hehe
anyways

i want to goto moroso w/ my friend (owns 350z)
both of us are new and dont know shit about it...

well... here are the questions
when is the best time?
how many runs can i make?
is there specific time i have to go?
any 1/4 mile drag tips?

please give me some tips to newbie..

The lack of torque, and rather weak diff cause many/ most S owners to shy away from the drag strip. Autocross is where the S really shines with the exceptional suspension and high power band, although the class re-structure may have hurt S2000 attendance for the 2005 season. Still, it's such a nice ride on a tight course.
You ought to try it (you and the 350). January 11/ 12 in Ft. Myers. There will most likely be an S2000 caravan heading over both mornings.

yeah.... i heard that s2000 is not a drag car but i still have urges to try out...
and i want to race my friend at the line... so that's another reason.

 

Personally I like running at night...
Good tips

1) Deflate your rear tires about 20-25 psi should be good
2) Run With a 1/4 tank of Gas
3) Dump the clutch on the last yellow dont wait for the green
4) unless you plan on waering slicks dont go into the burnout box
5) my best launch is around 6,200rpm anything below will probably bog.
