Need a testpipe
About a year ago I purchased A T1R 70mm single with a test pipe included. It was installed, and I saw the install, and much to my surprise...a catalytic converter was found in its place last night!! The car visited ONE SHOP between tunes..I was not very happy
I need a test pipe, 70mm in size....anyone have a source for this??

damn, i just bought that for my car
Warren, our cat is pretty high flow stock. Did you by chance dyno the work? I can't imagine a much higher flowing cat.
Either way Eric, was it a T1r test pipe? If so the stock heat shield can be bolted right up to it making it look just like a stock cat. Any chance that happended here? If you had or didn't have a test pipe you could easily tell by the smell. Its not as bad as some people make it seem, but you can definitiely notice it.
I can't imagine why anyone would steal a test pipe if you saw it installed and then didn't see it now. All test pipes are jsut a cheap pipe . . . the stock cat cost more than the test pipe does . . . not sure why someone would do it unless someone who serviced your s2k had an s2000 and wanted it for themselves.

Thanks for the remarks...I am going to lift the car myself (I should have done this before) and double check. I can't imagine someone stealing a part like that, but then again, my stock pipes were "accidentily discarded".
Burak, I need to hear your car, from the inside please
I am considering just getting a new exhaust that I can use with the turbo set up. Will your exhaust set up work on my car/ Andres says he can build it..What do you think??

Erick, just stick your head under there and look, you don't even really need to jack it up. If you would have mentioned it at the meet at fuds tonight I would have been glad to look for you. The only thing is like I said, the t1r testpipe can have the stock heatshield put back over it, so it would appear to be a stock cat. You would know for sure by the smell though.
I'm assuming by the above post you are going turbo? Let me know if your selling the S/C kit, I might know someone interested locally.
