Once I get a warm day here and put my cat back in, I'd be willing to sell you my test pipe... it's nothing fancy, just one a local shop made up for Richie about a year and a half ago (incidentally, my car was used as the test jig).

exhaust on a turbo car will sound A LOT different than it would on an n/a or s/c car. on n/a and s/c cars there isn't a turbine siting in between the head and the exhaust
exactly...

the reason i posted my video was that if erick gets the 3" turbo exhaust now, the car will sound similar to my T1R on my Vortech Setup.

Erick, I say get the Turbo exhaust now. It will be really really loud but it will be like day and night when you get the Turbo. You won't even hear the exhaust because of the turbo spool.

What we could do to meke it quiet is install a silencer and it wont take much power out of it, we did an Evo with 3.5" alum. exhaust with 2 silencers and you could hardly hear the car at iddle.

Thanks for the replys. Ultimately, I will go turbo, I have a Laskey Racing block built completely for this. I need an exhaust that I can use now, and then. Its Saturday AM, today I will talk with Andres for a custom built exhaust, AFTER my car is tuned and running. I think this is best.

Marc, what time do you get off work? I am down South, and will be at the shop later (4-6PM) and it would be great to meet up. I am researching my options with different Co. (ie: inline pro, AJR and lovefab exhausts) and I should decide today. I am very pleased with Andres' work. I will probably go with him as long as the cost is effective.

Smiley will tune my car today. I will post my impressions up later

hehe i'm actually still here @ work. i should be leaving in like 30 min or so. then i might go pick up a friend and stop by there. not 100% sure though as i have to bleed my brakes and swap tires for the autocross and i have a friend who's tuning their car today as well. if anything it'd be a lil later.

About a year ago I purchased A T1R 70mm single with a test pipe included. It was installed, and I saw the install, and much to my surprise...a catalytic converter was found in its place last night!! The car visited ONE SHOP between tunes..I was not very happy
Hmmm...a shop/tuner that pretends to install an aftermarket part that u bring him (but doesn't!), assures u that he did, and then causes u to have to spend more $$ to fix the problem(s) caused by his lies and deceit?

I wonder who that could be?

Glad you're in good hands now Erick.
