WOW!! Oscar you're not too far off on those horsepower numbers from the sounds of it. I want to see what they do with the body.

Photos dug up...

The Article:

When the unimpressive Acura Sports Car Concept debuted at the Detroit auto show in January, most thought it was a glimpse at the next-generation Acura NSX. Since then, Honda has been silent about its upcoming V10 supercar. Not anymore.

Wearing heavily modified S2000 sheet metal and riding on a platform with an extended wheelbase and wider track, the front-engine V10 test mule broke cover on Germany's famed N

I find this article preposterous. First of all Honda, Nissan even the all mighty Toyota are not capable of making a 200+ MPH production car (maybe a concept car) they just don

How can you say that Honda is not capable? They have been making race motors for years. F-1 and Indy are just two types of cars that have high performance, high output motors.

The mode where it shuts down to 5 cylinders from 10 that they talk about in the article above sounds just like my wife's Odyssey that has VCM -- Variable Cylinder Management. The Odyssey cuts down to 3 cylinders from 6 when it's in economy mode and doesn't need any extra power.

And exactly what are you basing this on?

The 6 cylinder motor on the NSX was and is a very advanced engine that makes a substantial amount of power for it's displacement comparable to any other performance 6 cylinder on the market. Again, all I see is a blanket statement with no back up.

Ah! It's all starting to make sense now, you buy cars based on what the company's bread and butter is based on (economy small and midsized cars) and not on based on technology, innovation, and performance of the particular car.

I can confidently tell you that Honda is not targeting you either when they're designing the next S2000 or NSX for that matter, and people like me will take pride in reminding you that your Aston Martin's V12 is two Ford Duratec V6's joined at the hip...
Wow!!! Hadn't seen you go off like that since your back and forth crap with Russ and Jonathan back in '04.....

It is not the same to build a 200+ MPH race car than it is to build a 200+MPH street car When was the last time Toyota. Honda or Nissan made a production car that can handle those speeds. I guess you can say there's always a first time.

The most effective 6 Cylinder engine Honda has ever produced is in the Accord LX or the Acura LT Type S wow true performance!!

Do a Google search under concept cars and tell me how many Hondas show up under technology and innovation must searches I've done usually comes up with Lexus or Nissan not to mention the big boys which I'll address in a moment as for the Aston Martin I'll like to see Honda try that I assure you it will leak oil just like the F20C!!

Let me explain my thinking, The 200+ MPH cars should be left to the big boys Aston Martin, McLaren, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Mercedes Benz, Porsche etc. they've been doing it for a long time and have the experience plus they are the true innovators when it comes to advance alloys and performance technology not to mention unequal craftsmanship.

My advice to Ichiro is to scrap the S, don
