Post Ok it's time!

This past week two houses in the neighborhood have being broken into. Now my family decided to secure things a little more. Im looking to get cameras for outdoor and a handgun.

I've being researching online for a nice camera set-up but some are extremely expensive and others way to cheap. I really can't tell which ones would be good or not. Sometimes the price doesn't mean its better. Anyone here with knowledge in this field? Any help would be highly appreciated.

Now the gun.
What handgun is reliable and packs a punch, I would like something that can get a laser attached. (I want to know where Im shooting when I go out of my mind on the thieves).

Thanks. !!!

Kimber Pro Carry or Full size .45 cal
H&K USP .45 cal

The Sig and Springfield are also excellent choices. If there are no children in the house, consider a Glock.

Shotguns are also a wonderful choice for home protection...simply the sound from engagement is enough to scare and subdue an intruder..

Get a Sig Saur .45 or a Glock. The glock to be honest is nice, compact and will pack enough of a punch to knock most anyone down.

I say dont get a gun. your gonna hurt your self or someone if your not train to use one. and if you shoot the guy you better be sure you hit him in the front and kill him cause if he lives. He can try to put you in jail. I heard storys. Now Thief's rights are held higher then the peolpe they hurt.

Use the money you where gonna use for the gun and put into protecting the house. Also dont just get a camera it only show you some one there doesnt stop them from coming in.
