I don't know if some were aware but I was in Colombia for like 10 days, and just got back this past Sunday. I had a great time and figured i'd share the pictures from the trip. I went to Medellin, that's where all my family is and I had a good time considering I hadn't been in 10 years.

Oh I also got LASIK done over there.. it's the BEST feeling in the world not having to use Contacts or glasses!

It confuses me because LASIK is a fairly common procedure, and she lives in Miami, not Columbia... so why wait until you're on vacation to go in for surgery?

 

Many times its less expensive to do a medical procedure in Latin American countries than here in the US and in some cases better doctors (better as in less greedy, more honest) as well.

And plus, Cindy didn't just go to Colombia to get Lasik done.

It's actually Colombia .

Reason I went to Colombia to get the LASIK done was because it was by far a lot cheaper than getting it done here in the states. LASIK can run you here in MIAMI about $3,000 - $4,000. I got my surgery and all exams for about a little less than $700. Plus the $350 air fair it was only $1,050.00 for the complete thing. Not only was it worth it because the doctor i saw was actually one of the first doing the procedure but i got to see my family whom i hadn't seen in about 10 years. All very worth it.

I agree, I have heard that they have some of the best and lowest cost healthcare there.
