How much can this people ask for this cars? Im very interested in the black one but for that price Ill just go get a 0 mile brand new '04 for less.
One with almost 6k miles and the other over 12K miles, and they still want over $29K. What do u guys think? I think its stealing.
I thought the price will be like that cuz they r certified but isnt it a new certified also? I mean c'mon. If someone knows anyone that works there please let them know that posting those prices will scare people away.
well g2g Im gonna set up an appointment to see what can I do towards that black one
I ain't paying more than $28K if I decide to buy it
Wish me luck!

How is it stealing? That's what they're asking for the cars. If someone decides to buy at that price, they were hardly forced to do so.
If no one buys at that price, then they either won't sell, or they'll start lowering the price to attract more buyers. That's how it works.

I agree that those prices are outrageous, but they can ask anything they want. In fact, I could put my S up for sale & ask $50,000 for it. I'd never get that - but I can still ask it.

My philosophy is this. The dealership's asking price is on the high side and if someone's dumb enough to walk in & pay it, then they're really happy. But, even if someone can get it for an "average price", they feel like they got a deal because they got so much off of the asking price.

Personally, I'd walk in there & tell them that you can get a brand spankin' new '04 S2000 for just over $30,000 and they'd be crazy to think that you'd pay more than that for a used car.

The era of Honda dealers not knowing about the S2000 is over....'least in my
neck of the woods. Together, Chris and I at least have the Miami area covered.
I'm not so sure about South Motors though. When I was over there a month ago to get
black wiper nozzles for the CF hood, one of their salesman said, "you gonna
supercharge that thing? I wouldn't....it only gives you about 40hp."

Good grief.
