Thumbs down Rough 2nd...

Hey guys i bought the car a few months ago and have been experiencing some grinding going into 2nd speed ever since.Never drove another S before so cant compare if this is normal or not. This seems to occure only in the first 10-15 min after start-up when car is not yet warm enough.Have u guys experienced the same thing and if not what this could be?Any input is welcome, btw car has only 8k miles if this maters.Thanx

It's normal. Just change your tranny fluid to the new Honda MTF. It's got a green label. They sell it at all dealerships.

I did that and it still does the same thing. I'm going to try to take it to the dealership next week because it could be bad synchros or something. To be honest, I didn't notice any difference between the new transmission fluid from my prior one. I don't know, maybe it's because I need to have my tranny checked out first.

Mine does that as well when it's cold.

I found that if you double-clutch the 1-2 shift, it helps smooth it out until the car warms up.
