RX-8 Test Drive
God I so couldn't resist. I HAD TO!!! It was awesome. I don't care what anyone says.. I LOVE THE CAR!!! I want it.... next to my S2000 . The car was nice... very roomy inside. The rear seats i would have to say are a little roomier than the back seats of a Mustang. The only bad thing is that if the driver is 'big' and has to sit far back.. no one can sit in the back seat.. because there is NO SPACE! To get into the back seat there is a lil trouble and getting out as well. The "saturn" doors aren't bad.. they are actually rather cool. I like that. Another thing i didn't like about the back seats was the way the windows open. They pop open out.. they don't roll down. Wasn't too much of a fan on that. The Trunk.. well I say that our trunk is bigger.. you have to sorta work your way around the spare tire, because unlike ours thats tucked away nicely.. this one sticks out the side and out into the trunk. The engine compartment is nice.. everything is covered and defenitly makes you wonder how everything is under it.
The PRICE! WOW! I saw a Red 6 Speed, 18inch Alloy Rims, Sun Roof & visor, rear spoiler, Bose system, and Navigation System.. and it was 33K!! Not bad at all. The car even after it's little bad parts.. I still love it. But thats just cause i'm a rotary girl at heart.
The test drive was great... just make sure if you try to go do one.. you say you are interested in buying it and aren't there to just "look". The car drives sweet.. i didn't really punch it. But it's smooth and quiet to turn on. Drives great.
In the end... I WANT THE CAR Oh and sorry no pics. Didn't want to look like a dork taking pics. There were a LOT of ppl there looking at the car, mostly young guys. They had 3 colors: Black, Red, & Baltic Green.

My dad was telling me the other day that when he was my age...back in the day story...he test drove a concept vehicle (wasn't even a completed car) that had the roots of what would become a rotary engine. He was explaining me about how those engines used to guzzle up tons and tons of oil. I replied with the fact that I think they still do. Anyways, the reason I didn't wait to get the rx-8 was very simple. I have dreamt of having a convertible car since I was five...yes I remember. Ok I am rambling...goodnight.
