S2000 Daily Driver
I've been dd my S for 3 years now. If your buying the car you know what to expect from it. Small and fun.
IMO with my line of work/hobbies/ friend to drive around this car is hard to deal with. Im glad I have a second car, my gf's scion to do the other thing I like.

How about the bad weather. Do I have to think twice about taking the car out when it pours? Is the top going to get torn apart? Do I need to be extra cautious that it gets flooded (these cars are super low)? Is a little wind going to rock the car to the point where I have to stop?
The top will take the weather just fine.
The occasional flooded street is only a problem if you're careless. Just drive carefully and avoid side streets and you'll be fine.
The one thing I would say you get before you move is a good alarm with a motion sensor. Theft is the biggest concern down here.

unless u have an after market intake thats at the bottom, you have nothing to worry about. just dont drive through flood streets at 50mph
an hope you have quality tires, s2000 isn't the best car in the rain. i use dunlop star specs and they're great in the rain

I've DD mine for almost 2 years now. Been stolen once and just hydro locked the engine just about a week ago now during a nasty storm with a CAI. Other than those two incedents, its the greatest car i've ever owned!
