The meet will take place at Markham Park on Sunday, August 28th.

We'll meet up at Markham at around 1PM and fire up the grill. I believe its a $1 entrance fee for the park. We need for people to bring the following items... soda, hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, ketchup, mustard, chips, some sort of desert, paper plates, plastic forks, knives, spoons, cups and napkins.

We also need a final confirmation from all those interested.

Miami people, if you guys want to, we can organize a nice group drive up there. We could meet up at 11am and head up.

Hey I just read through Rated's post about everyone meeting each other, Why don't we have a big meet/BBQ in a park, maybe markham,ty.... Arcadence mentioned the end of summer, some time in august would be a good time

Would people be intrested in this? If so can someone help me pick a weekend with no races or auto-x's or anything that would interfere.

It was 'only' Pennekamp... thats not that far... maybe an hours drive.. IS THIS A BAD THING?

look at the pool party.. we ALL WANT to go.. its been rescheduled 4 times already...


I agree w/ Mitch.. when it cools down.. we'll try something again... a big issue is.. the 'newer' members are not 21.. this limits the type of activity we can do..

Perhaps a Drive and then meet up at Dave & Busters for food..

Maybe we can do a little planning, and the down south boys meet up and drive to D&B off I-95 and wherever the hell it is...Sheridan? And the up north boys do the same on a given evening.

As for the park idea, I like it, and hot or not, if there's water nearby who cares? Beer, BBQ, maybe a game of volleyball or swimming and looking at everyone's +1 in a bikini is an ideal way to spend an afternoon.

I'm definitely down for doing something like a bar bq. D&B's is okay too. It really doesn't matter what we do, but I definitely agree that we need to get the group together. It's been too long.
